Welcome to Valdosta's First Assembly of God. Our desire is that people from all walks of life can come and experience the presence of God in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. We invite you to find your passion in life through faith in Jesus Christ. Following him is a great adventure in discovering your life purpose and walking with God through the joys and trials of everyday life. Our mission at Valdosta's First Assembly of God is: First Assembly is to be a center for evangelism. The Lord is asking each of us to commit to the task of winning our world to Christ through the ministries of our local church and our missionaries and missions projects. First Assembly is to be a center for healing. The Lord is calling us to minister to the wounded and battered of our society. Some have been waylayed by sin and the world. Others have been abused and neglected by uncaring of unthinking churches and Christians. Here they will find love, acceptance, and forgiveness. Let First Assembly be a haven for the "whosoever wills." First Assembly is to be a center for equipping. All of us are called to the ministry of reconciliation according to Paul in II Corinthians 5. Our goal is to grow; spiritually, in maturity, knowledge, and in effectiveness. In His Service,
